"Working with insurance companies can be extremely difficult, but the Disama Group found it to be very refreshing to work with Bayou City Risk who truly care about what is right for the customer. They are not afraid to push the insurance carriers to do better for the customer! They appreciate the business and make you feel like you have been their client forever! We look forward to growing with Bayou City Risk!"   Rebecca Jimenez - CFO Disama Building Group

Bayou City Risk’s Modified Blanket Builder’s Risk program provides significant premium savings, eliminations reporting for insureds and eliminates potential uncovered claims due to later or non-reporting.  Our rates are applied on a pro-rata basis and premium is paid only for the period of time (in months) that each structure is covered by the insurance policy.  Our low minimum premium requirements reduce the risk of overestimating exposure at the beginning of the policy period.

Builder’s Risk insurance is typically offered in either a “reporting” or “standard blanket” coverage format. Reporting formats often require tedious monthly reporting. If reporting is done incorrectly, it can result in uncovered losses. Both reporting and standard blanket coverage formats typically require the insured to pay premium based on “annual” rates, even if a structure is built and sold in less than one year.

Bayou City Risk Commercial Auto Insurance includes liability and property damage protection for cars, trucks and vans that you use for business. It can also cover food trucks, service utility trucks, trailers, and other types of vehicles.  Businesses need commercial auto insurance to protect from accidents and other liabilities involving their business vehicles. Workers Compensation
“Bayou City Risk and Chris Hawkins have handled BPT’s workers comp policy from day one.   Going on 23 years now.   I could not have asked for a better Company or Individual looking out for our Company’s best interest.”  Greg N. Tomlinson President/Owner BPT

Worker's compensation insurance covers medical costs and lost wages for work-related injuries and illnesses.  This policy is required in almost every state for businesses that have employees.
In the construction industry, physical labor brings a high risk of injuries that could place a tremendous financial burden on your business.  For instance, if a carpenter has an accident with a nail gun, it could lead to hefty medical bills and downtime

A Bayou City Risk’s Workers’ Compensation Policy can pay for medical expenses and partial missed wages when an employee is injured on the job or develops an occupational illness. Workers’ Compensation benefits also cover temporary or permanent disability and death benefits.

Group health insurance plans offer medical coverage to members of an organization or employees of a company. They may also provide supplemental health plans—such as dental, vision, and pharmacy—separately or as a bundle. Risk is spread across the insured population, which allows the insurer to charge low premiums.

Group health insurance plans are one of the most affordable types of health insurance plans available. Because risk is spread among insured persons, premiums are considerably lower than traditional individual health insurance plans. This is possible because the insurer assumes less risk as more people participate in the plan. For employees who ordinarily would not be able to afford individual health insurance, it is an attractive benefit.
